The first City Council Citizen Recognition Award was presented to Bill Van Ness for his contributions to the community through Stillwater radio.

A request to close a 20-foot portion of South Ramsey Street adjacent to 811 West 6th Avenue was approved, with the provision that the sidewalk be relocated or a pedestrian easement provided.

Ordinance 3192, amending chapter 2, article 1, section 2-1 of the city code regarding tort claims payment and appeal, was approved on its first reading.

Ordinance 3193, closing a 10-foot utility easement at 802 and 820 South Perkins Road, was approved on its first reading.

Ordinance 3194, rezoning properties at 121, 1205, 1209, 1213, and 1217 North Ramsey Street from RSS to RTM, was approved on its first reading.

Ordinance 3195, amending chapter 29, article 11, section 29-289 regarding violations in the Westwood neighborhood area parking district, was approved on its first reading.

Ordinance 3187, amending chapter 10, article 2, sections 10-22 and 10-24 regarding the Building Trades board, was approved on its second reading.

Ordinance 3188, amending chapter 23, article 2, division two regarding the Planning Commission, was approved on its second reading.

Ordinance 3189, amending chapter 2, article 3, division 6, section 2-271 regarding the Accessibility Advisory Board meetings, was approved on its second reading.

Ordinance 3190, dissolving and repealing the Stillwater Wellness committee, was approved on its second reading with a 4-1 vote.

The financing approach and implementation schedule for the Southwest Pressure Zone water project were approved, with staff authorized to proceed with the plan.

The purchase of property at 2107 North Boomer Road for up to $188,000 was approved, with the chairman authorized to execute the real estate sales and purchase contract.
