Financial Matters
Pavement Management Program Funding
The program currently receives approximately $4 million annually from the half-cent sales tax, which may not be sufficient to significantly improve the pavement condition index.
Winter Wonderland Event
Visit Stillwater invested $25,000, and the event broke even financially through ticket sales and sponsorships. The city also saw approximately $8,000 in direct cash and sales tax revenue.
Pavement Marking Striping
An estimated annual budget of $500,000-$600,000 would be needed to maintain pavement markings if using thermoplastic.
