Overall decrease of $2.6 million compared to FY21 adopted budget, with decreases in sales/use tax, fines, lodging tax, interest revenue, water sales, and an increase in waste management fees.

The FY22 proposed transfer is a fair jump from previous effective transfers due to a $500,000 decrease in general fund revenues and a $900,000 increase in general fund expenditures and transfers.

Residents provided feedback on the FY22 budget through an online tool, social media, emails, and bill inserts. The most widely selected topic for increased funding was street repairs. Other popular suggestions included a new animal welfare facility, a softball complex, and rails-to-trails development.
