Financial Matters
Stillwater Animal Welfare Facility Bond
Proposed general obligation bond for the construction and associated costs of a new Animal Welfare facility. Discussion included 10, 15, and 20-year term options, with a 15-year term being recommended for a resolution at the next meeting. The estimated maximum levy for a $100,000 house would be $26.50 per year.
PCA Storm Recovery Collection
The collection line for the PCA storm recovery on utility bills has been paid in full and will no longer appear on future bills. This recovered costs from Storm Uri two years prior.
Rural Fire Service Contract
Annual fee for residents outside city limits but within the Stillwater fire department's response area to ensure response fees for fire incidents do not exceed $2,000. Without a contract, full service fees (potentially thousands of dollars) are charged.
