Airport Pedestrian Trail Bids

The lowest and best bid for the pedestrian trail project was from Bishop Paving for $633,409.90. Funding is available from bond proceeds ($730,000) and a $10,000 Oklahoma Healthy Communities grant, leaving approximately $100,000 for other capital projects.

45th Street and 6th Street Project Bids

The low bid for the project was $10,314,639.00, significantly exceeding ODOT's engineer's estimate of $7,958,527.00. The city's share could be up to $2,498,000. ODOT is currently reviewing the bid for validity, with concerns about underestimated water line costs.

45th Street Mill and Overlay Project

The contractor's work on the 45th Street mill and overlay was found to be rough and out of specification. The city has withheld full payment and is decreasing the quantities on the current contract, planning to rebid the remaining street work in the spring.
