Financial Matters
Revenue Enhancement Program (First 6 months FY2018)
The program yielded additional taxes through sales and use tax compliance, independent audits, hotel tax collections, home sharing, and property tax reviews.
Independent Audit Program (Revenue Enhancement)
Collected through independent audits, with three large audits currently in various stages of protest. Historically, each dollar spent generates an additional five dollars in sales taxes.
Property Taxes (Revenue Enhancement)
Identified approximately 85 properties within city limits that were not paying Oklahoma City property taxes. These properties have been added to the current year's assessment roll and are expected to generate an additional $300,000 over the next decade.

Mark Nelson, representing the FOP, expressed gratitude to the council for approving their contract. Ryder Curt, accompanied by his grandson Emmanuel, shared plans for opening a school to teach lifetime skills, highlighted the achievements of a local gymnastic team, and offered well wishes to the Mayor.
