Financial Matters

Small Business Continuity Program

Round one funded 324 grants/loans and 13 technical assistance contracts for approximately $6 million. Round two funded 252 applications for $14.8 million. Technical assistance is ongoing for 40 applicants ($300,000). Retrofit program is supporting 59 applicants ($700,000). Venue program will fund all 13 qualified applications for $2 million. Total allocated: $21.4 million. Unfunded qualified applications represent $19 million in need.

Fiscal Year 2020 End Budget Report (Unaudited)

Total revenue of $485 million vs. expenses of $480 million in the general fund, resulting in a $5.3 million difference. After PO rollovers, approximately $4 million will be added to the fund balance, bringing it to $109.4 million (23.6% of budget), above the 14-20% financial policy.

FY2021 Budget Amendment

Administrative budget increase for purchase order rollover, covering items ordered last fiscal year but received in the current year. This affects 11 funds and brings the FY21 budget total to $1,662,303,978.
