Sales Tax Revenue (April)

Sales tax revenue for April was down 5.5%, attributed largely to the significant cold spell in February/March. Overall, sales tax for the year is down 3.5% but still $15 million above target due to federal assistance programs.

Use tax revenue for the year shows a 13.5% growth.
