Opposition cited religious beliefs and concerns about privacy in the home. Regarding medical marijuana fees, numerous business owners and patients expressed strong dissatisfaction with the proposed tiered fee structure, arguing that the fees were exorbitant, inequitable compared to other businesses, and would negatively impact patients and the nascent industry.
