Financial Matters
August Sales Tax Report
August sales tax was relatively flat compared to the previous year, but sales and use tax were up 17% for the month and 15.15% for the year compared to fiscal year 19-20 projections.
Announcements
- The Animal Welfare Office will be closed August 13th and 14th for relocation to its new home at 8485 East Reno, reopening August 16th. A grand opening is planned for Saturday, August 28th at 10 AM.
- The Skip Recreational Trail has been repaired and reopened to the public.
- Residents are encouraged to use the online Resident Request Reporter link on the city's website under the 'Your Community' tab to report issues.
- School starts tomorrow, August 11th, in Mid-Del; drivers should be cognizant of school zones and increased traffic.
